The Washashore, #1 in the Silas Lopez police procedural series. A fatal late-night hit-and-run shatters the quiet of Provincetown, drawing interim police chief Silas Lopez into a case that appears straightforward—until the cracks begin to show. In a town where secrets wash ashore with every tide, nothing is as it seems. What begins as a tragic accident investigation unravels into something far darker and more dangerous, forcing Silas to confront a threat that could cost him everything he holds dear. But Silas isn’t one to back down. A fifteenth-generation ranch hand turned plain-spoken cop, he’s fueled by grit, instinct, and a stubborn streak that won’t quit.

The Holdfast, #2 in the Silas Lopez police procedural series. When an elderly Provincetown homeowner dies of seemingly natural causes, newly-minted police chief Silas Lopez feels a tug of doubt he can’t quite overcome. The investigation pulls him from quiet streets of Provincetown to the dark edges of Boston finance, where documents speak louder than bullets and the wrong questions can get a person erased. He follows a trail of forged signatures, whispered threats, attempts on his life and one death too convenient to ignore. In a town where everybody wants a piece of paradise, Silas learns the hardest thing to protect isn’t property—it’s the people who still call it home.
