About Steven
Having spent many years in financial services, I often noticed how much a corporation resembles anindividual. Just as businesses depend on strong development, production, and culture, people are shaped by the “inputs” of our environments, relationships, and experiences. When those inputs are imbalanced or toxic, dysfunction follows at every level.
This idea became the foundation of my storytelling. Though my tales are fictional, the emotional and psychological truths they carry are very real. I explore how the Seven Deadly Sins—guilt, wrath, sloth, vanity, and more—surface not as abstractions, but as powerful forces capable of derailing lives.
My path to becoming an author was anything but straightforward. After leaving financial services, I discovered a new purpose in writing supernatural and historical fiction. My novel, Trinity: Puglia’s Son, reflects both this personal evolution and my deep belief in the dignity of the human soul.
The journey began much earlier, in high school, when I was diagnosed with a learning disability and poor reading comprehension. While classmates absorbed material in an hour, I needed three. I refused to acknowledge the label and instead became my own toughest critic. Reading and writing were difficult and frustrating, but those struggles also sparked imagination. What once felt like a limitation became creative fuel. Stories offered me refuge and inspiration, helping me transform challenge into strength. By blending myth, history, and human resilience, I found my voice as an author.
