About Áine
Áine is an Irish-born author who now lives on Boston’s North Shore. In addition to her five published books (fiction and nonfiction), her short works have appeared in many U.S. and Irish publications, including The Boston Globe Magazine, The New York Times, Creative Nonfiction, Another Chicago Magazine, The World Channel, WBUR/Cognoscenti and many others. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and cited in “Best American Essays.” As a trained teacher, Áine designs and leads writing workshops for community, healthcare and wellness organizations.
Her fifth book, Trespassers and Other Stories, will be released on March 4, 2025. Trespassers is a collection of contemporary short fiction set in greater Boston and Ireland. For more information: visit here
